What Is a Home Inspection?

Whether you are buying or selling a home, a home inspection can be a very valuable asset. As a buyer, you are entering into what is most likely the largest single purchase of your life. While no home is free from defects, a home inspection can eliminate many surprises and insure you enjoy your home right from the start. If you are selling your home, it can be helpful to know in advance what the buyer is likely to have concerns about and allow you to take action in advance, before losing a sale. Our reports are confidential and unbiased. Let us help you eliminate potentially expensive unknowns. We visually inspect the grounds, structural systems, exterior, roof, plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, interior, attic, insulation and ventilation. While we are not permitted to disassemble or cause damage, we have hundreds of hours of training in evaluating all systems and components of a home within these limitations. All our reports include a checklist style summary at the end of the inspection and a bound hardcopy report within 72 hours.
